Screen companies.

Find companies whose reported figures, derived ratios, growth rates or ownership percentages satisfy exact conditions.

Filter vocabulary

Reported concepts	`Revenue`, `ProfitAfterTax`, `Borrowings` and other required inputs.
Derived ratios	`net_margin`, `return_on_equity`, `debt_to_equity`, `interest_coverage` and more.
Growth	Add `_growth`, such as `Revenue_growth`. `0.2` means 20%.
Ownership	`promoter_pct`, `fii_pct`, `dii_pct`, `mutual_fund_pct`, `public_pct`, `pledged_pct`.

Operators and missing data

Supported operators are >, >=, <, <=, = and !=. A company missing an input does not match. Results include per-filter coverage so a thin candidate pool is visible.

Discovery, not lookup

Use screening for “which companies look like this”. Use Search when you already know the name. Call list_screen_metrics before generating strict filters.

screen_companies is currently an MCP tool. Natural-language /v1/query can plan screens, but there is no dedicated public REST screening endpoint yet.
