Overview
Use Companies to resolve a business name into the stable identity used across Marked. Results connect company names, sectors, listing status and identifiers before you request financials, ownership or filings.

Getting started
Issue a key
Sign in, choose a plan and create an API key from your workspace dashboard.
Send the request
Call /v1/companies with X-API-Key or an Authorization bearer token.
Read data and metadata
Use data for records and meta for timestamps, counts and request context.
Implementation notes
- →Use this endpoint before a company-specific request when the user supplied a name rather than a ticker.
- →Company references elsewhere may be a ticker, ISIN, CIN, exchange-qualified symbol or Marked company ID.
